Amaku is the head of our employment, immigration and incentive practice and a member of our Dispute Resolution Unit. As a member of our Dispute Resolution Unit, she advises clients on risk management and participates in ADR proceedings. She also possesses over 9 (nine) years experience advising diverse categories of clients across the various aspects of Nigerian Law. Before joining the firm, she worked in the legal department of a multinational FMCG where she advised on matters ranging from immigration, employment, labour relations, contracts and international trade. She also has experience working as head of the Human Resources Department for a management consulting firm.
Onyi is a member of the Business Advisory and Dispute Resolution Units. She advises clients on taxation, regulatory compliance and risk management. She possesses over 6 (six) years of cognate experience advising diverse categories of clients across the various aspects of Nigerian Law. Before joining the firm, she spent some time with a tax advisory firm in Lagos and an investment advisory firm in Abuja.
Favour Sewanunami Posu is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Corporate Commercial Practice Groups. She has hands-on experience in transaction support/advisory, regulatory compliance, and commercial dispute resolution. She has supported tech startups, corporations, and investors through complex legal challenges.
Favour is passionate about legal innovation, leadership, and social impact. She has represented marginalised voices through legal aid initiatives, advocated against female genital mutilation on national platforms, and led student and youth development organisations. She is a recipient of the International Law Advocacy Award, was awarded the Best Female Speaker at the National NYSC Debate on AI and Law and an Award of Leadership Excellence from her alma mater.
Favour is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, and a Member of the International Law Association.
Favour holds a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an LL.B from Olabisi Onabanjo University. Beyond her legal career, she is a Global Youth Ambassador at TheirWorld, a Sustainability Leader with United People Global, and a published writer on legal reform, gender rights, and development issues.
